Welcome to Nature In Play:

Struggling with an Aggressive Dog?

Is frustration setting in as you navigate unsuccessful attempts with conventional training methods—be it positive reinforcement, force-free, fear-free, balanced approaches—and/or consultations with behaviorists? Do you keep being turned away due to the severity of your situation? Are you being told to Isolate, medicate, or even kill your dog? Are you feeling hopeless? Look no further! We're on a mission to provide an alternative approach for dog owners and professionals facing behavioral challenges, particularly aggression, with the aim of preventing the unnecessary micromanagement, isolation, and killing of our beloved dogs.

🌿 Embrace a New Approach:

At Nature In Play, we delve into the fascinating world of canine behavior, focusing on how dogs think, feel, and communicate; how they process information. Discover a holistic approach that goes beyond commands and products. At Nature In Play, we speak the language of dogs, guiding you through a transformative journey rooted in the wisdom of nature. Unlike conventional trainers & behaviorists, I will not tell your dog to sit, down, stay, heel, or place because I recognize that dogs do not think or communicate in this way, and we must learn how to speak their language and how to be with them from a dog’s perspective. Our services are custom-tailored to address your specific needs, fostering understanding and Balance.

Why Nature?

Nature is our guide; we are all hardwired to it, dogs and humans alike. When we look to nature, we can gain profound insights into the core of canine behavior & communication as well as ourselves. I believe that by reconnecting with the natural instincts of dogs, we can build a deeper connection and create lasting transformations. This approach isn't just about behavior modification; it's a journey of building relationships based on understanding, trust, respect, and compassion.

“Working with Scott was extremely transformative experience for me and for my dogs. The work we did gave me the opportunity to completely shift my relationship with my dogs and their behaviors, and that ultimately led me toward developing healthier boundaries with the people in my life as well. We tend to want to fix problematic behaviors in our dogs without examining or changing the role we play in enabling, allowing, and even encouraging those behaviors. Although it can be challenging to take responsibility and initiative for changing our behaviors first and foremost, it’s also extremely effective and empowering! I feel like I really can’t overstate how helpful Scott was in improving my dog’s quality of life, as well as my own.”

About Scott

Hello, I'm Scott Elliott, the driving force behind Nature In Play, Inc, and I've dedicated over a decade of my life to understanding and helping to transform the lives of dogs, especially those with behavioral challenges revolving around aggression, and will continue to do so. This is my lifes work.

🐾 Childhood Beginnings:

My journey with dogs started in my childhood, where I often felt misunderstood by people. Growing up, I sought solace and companionship with my dogs and cats, fostering a deep connection with these incredible beings. As an adult, when I welcomed my first puppy Karma, I knew that the conventional approach of commands and products wasn't for us. I wanted us to have understanding and to just be natural.

💡 Awakening to the Natural Way:

Early success with my puppy led me into helping people that had dogs that were being aggressive, most being given a death sentence by dog trainers, behaviorists, shelters/rescues, and veterinarians. This led me down a path of curiosity, experimentation, and eventually even diving into the conventional dog training world. However, once in the conventional world this venture left me unsatisfied, constantly searching for more meaningful answers. During this quest, behavioral problems started emerging in my dog Karma, this drove me even more into seeking for understanding and solutions. I was reading/listening to books, watching videos, attending seminars, and hiring other dog professionals to consult with. I found there were dogs that it seemed could be helped with the things I was learning, but nothing was helping me with my own dog Karma, and I found that to be the case for many others as well. For a lot of dogs, it seemed like the solutions were micromanagement, isolation, medication, and death. This was just not acceptable to me.

🌿 Back to Nature:

Finally on the journey I encountered Brandon Fouche, who was able to provide me with the help and the understanding I was looking for. He also rekindled the natural way of living with dogs within me. I hadn’t even realized that I lost that along the way, Brandon opened my mind and heart back to nature, teaching me invaluable lessons on understanding dogs from natures perspective. Something he said that really clicked for me was, “dogs can only think like dogs, and they expect us to think like them.”. After discovering Brandon, I immediately contacted my clients and told them that I had mislead them, and that I would refund them their money, but I hope they would join me on the path back to nature.

🙏 Gratitude to Dogs:

Gratitude fuels my commitment to providing dogs with the best life possible. Dogs have been my teachers, imparting valuable lessons about life, self-discovery, and the art of working with them. Each dog I've encountered has contributed to my growth, shaping me into a better person.

I owe it to dogs to share the insights gained from this transformative journey. At Nature In Play, my mission is to pass on this knowledge and help others build profound connections with their canine companions; especially those that the conventional methods are not working for and are looking at a life of micromanagement, isolation, and death. Together, let's embrace the natural wisdom that dogs and nature have to offer.

Join me on this journey of understanding, personal discovery, development, and growth to unlock a deeper and more connected life with our beloved dogs.
