Client Agreement
At Nature In Play, INC, we believe in providing you and your dog(s) with an experience that
fosters deep understanding and meaningful transformation.
This process may be challenging at times, but it ultimately strengthens the bond between you and your dog.
This guide outlines our shared roles and responsibilities, ensuring clarity as we move forward
together.
The Commitment to Growth
True progress depends on your active participation and willingness to adjust your approach to working with your dog(s).
While Nature In Play, INC and Scott Elliott provide guidance in rehabilitation, behavior, and relationship building, the outcome is influenced by both your dedication and your dog’s ability to adapt.
Your Dog’s Health & Readiness
By engaging in our services, you confirm that your dog(s) is/are in good health and do not have any conditions that could limit participation.
Safety & Awareness
While we take every precaution, including the use of muzzles and controlled environments, working with dogs that have behavioral challenges carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that unexpected situations may arise.
Understanding the Risks
Working with aggressive or behaviorally challenged dogs involves risks, including potential injury, emotional stress, or property damage.
Since animal behavior is unpredictable, there is always a possibility of injury from bites, scratches, or physical contact, as well as risks associated with handling dogs that may break free from restraints.
By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
Responsibility & Accountability
Each client is fully responsible for their own dog’s actions, behavior, injuries, and any damages caused.
Clients may not hold other clients liable for incidents involving their dogs.
Participation in this program is voluntary, and by choosing to engage, clients acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all associated risks.
Any disputes regarding liability or medical costs must be resolved privately between the involved clients, without
the involvement of Nature In Play, Inc.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scott Elliott and Nature In Play, Inc. from all claims, damages, or losses resulting from their dog’s actions.
Nature In Play, Inc. is not liable for injuries, damages, or disputes between clients and their dogs.
Financial Responsibility
Clients must have sufficient insurance to cover any injury or damage they may suffer while participating.
Otherwise, they agree to personally bear the costs.
If a dog becomes ill or injured during participation, the client is fully responsible for all veterinary expenses, even
if the incident involves another client’s dog.
In urgent medical situations, Nature In Play, Inc may seek veterinary care at its discretion.
While we will make every effort to contact the client, they authorize us to pursue necessary treatment for their dog’s well-being.
Cancellations & Refunds
All fees are non-refundable. Rescheduling is at the sole discretion of Nature In Play, Inc.
In cases of severe weather or emergencies, services may be rescheduled at the discretion of Nature In Play, Inc.
Confidentiality
At Nature In Play, Inc., we understand that addressing your dog’s behavior involves exploring the relationship between you and your dog,
which may touch on personal and sensitive topics. We are committed to maintaining your privacy.
Clients may request that certain personal information shared during consultations remain confidential,
and we will honor these requests to the best of our ability. This ensures a safe and respectful environment for you and your dog throughout our work together.
